About TGRJ

A global platform for rigorous, ethical and multidisciplinary scholarship.

Who We Are

Transglobal Research Journal (TRJ) is an international, peer-reviewed scholarly journal dedicated to promoting and disseminating high-quality research across multidisciplinary domains. The journal provides a global platform for researchers, academicians, scholars, and practitioners to share innovative ideas, engage in meaningful scholarly dialogue, and contribute to the advancement of knowledge with real-world impact.

TRJ was founded by Dr. S. Thanigaivelan, a distinguished Professor of English at a reputed college in Chennai, accomplished author, and edu-tech entrepreneur, together with his friend and Co-Founder, Col. M. Ponmuthuramalaingam. Their shared vision is to build a globally connected research ecosystem that promotes academic excellence, research integrity, innovation, collaboration, and accessibility.

The establishment and early development of TRJ were also significantly shaped by the intellectual contribution and academic guidance of Dr. Shalini Infanta, a highly published and accomplished Professor whose scholarly experience and commitment to research excellence played an instrumental role in the conceptualization and development of the journal. Her contribution has been important in strengthening the journal's academic vision, research orientation, and commitment to quality scholarship.

The foundation of TRJ emerged from an inspiring intellectual collaboration. During discussions on the declining standards of academic research and the challenges involved in maintaining research quality and integrity, Dr. S. Thanigaivelan and Col. M. Ponmuthuramalaingam reflected on the need for a credible, ethical, transparent, and globally competitive scholarly platform. These discussions, together with the academic insights and support of Dr. Shalini Infanta, contributed significantly to the conceptualization and establishment of TRJ.

TRJ also carries the intellectual legacy and vision of the late Dr. R. Santhakumar, Professor of Ancient History and former Chairperson of the School of Historical Studies at Madurai Kamaraj University. The journal stands as a tribute to his academic vision, dedication to research excellence, and enduring contribution to higher education. His intellectual influence continues to inspire TRJ's mission of encouraging rigorous, ethical, and impactful scholarship.

The journal is committed to maintaining high standards of publication ethics, academic integrity, transparency, and scholarly quality. TRJ follows internationally recognized principles and best practices in academic publishing, including relevant guidelines promoted by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). The journal employs a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to ensure fairness, objectivity, confidentiality, and academic quality in the evaluation of submitted manuscripts.

With a strong emphasis on interdisciplinary research and global relevance, TRJ seeks to bridge academic disciplines and encourage scholarship addressing contemporary social, cultural, technological, environmental, and global challenges. The journal welcomes contributions from diverse academic fields and perspectives, fostering inclusivity and expanding the reach of scholarly communication

At its core, TRJ aims to be more than a conventional academic journal. It aspires to develop a vibrant and globally connected research community where knowledge is shared, ideas are challenged, collaboration is encouraged, and scholarship creates meaningful social and intellectual impact. Through its commitment to excellence, integrity, innovation, collaboration, and accessibility, Transglobal Research Journal seeks to contribute to the development of a stronger, ethical, and more inclusive global research ecosystem.
